Lake Mille Lacs Scenic Byways Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

Members of the Lake Mille Lacs Scenic Byways committee were joined by state legislators, representatives from MnDOT, Explore Minnesota, Department of Natural Resources, East Central Regional Development Commission and Arrowhead Regional Development Commission at the ribbon cutting ceremony/dedication of the Lake Mille Lacs Scenic Byway on Thursday, Nov. 1 at the intersection of Hwy. 169 and 18 in Garrison.

The Lake Mille Lacs 68-mile Scenic Byway is the state’s 22nd byway. The state’s byways comprise 2,948 miles of regionally outstanding scenic, natural, recreational, cultural, historic or archaeological significant corridors.
