Best Practices for Volunteer Driver Programs, Part 1: Safety, Security, Emergency Preparedness, and Passenger Assistance

9:30 – 11:30 a.m. and 1:00 – 3:00 p.m.

This will be the seventh stop in the MCOTA volunteer driver virtual forum series, Minnesota’s Road to Volunteer Drivers. This virtual forum, part one of two parts, will use the more interactive Zoom meeting format to facilitate participant engagement. It will provide training modules for volunteer driver programs about safety, security, emergency preparedness, and passenger assistance. The second part (8th Stop on June 2) presents additional training modules focused on difficult customers, self-care, ethics and boundaries, and best practices.

Registration: The virtual forums are free to attend, but registration is required.

After you register, you will receive an email confirmation with Zoom login information for the event. You also will receive an email reminder with the login information one day prior to and one hour prior to the start of the virtual forum. Your login information should not be shared with others — each person must register individually.

Please note: By registering for this forum, you will automatically be registered for all events in the Minnesota’s Road to Volunteer Drivers Virtual Forum Series, which runs through early June 2021. You may attend as many as you wish using the same Zoom information. If you have previously registered for other forum series events, you do not need to register again.
